Designed for compatibility with NASA's Deep Space Network, our DSN transponders offer the sensitivity, stability and low noise figure necessary to provide reliable communication from the farthest reaches of the solar system and beyond. The Cassini X-Band Transponder provided the communications for the NEAR mission, Mars Pathfinder, Cassini-Huygens, Mars Surveyor 98 and Stardust missions.

| The Small Deep Space Transponder (SDST) provides the capability of the Cassini transponder with lower size and mass. The SDST was used on the New Millennium Deep Space 1, 2001 Mars Odyssey, Spitzer Space Telescope, Mars Exploration Rover and Deep Impact, the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, and Starlight. The Multi-mode S-Band Transceiver provides compatibility with a variety of government and commercial telemetry and command formats at an affordable price. Available modes include NASA's Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System (TDRSS), NASA's traditional STDN ground network format (also compatible with AFSCN Unified S-Band), and a direct carrier BPSK mode compatible with commercial services and some NASA ground assets. In addition to telemetry and command applications, a pair of transceivers can be configured for proximity link or crosslink applications. Click here for more information
