Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope

"Fermi" (formerly GLAST) is a next generation high-energy gamma-ray satellite observatory designed to make observations of celestial gamma-ray sources in the energy band extending from 10 keV to more than 300 GeV. The Fermi Mission, part of NASA's Office of Space and Science strategic plan, is an international collaboration of government agencies and academic institutions from the United States, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, and Sweden.  It was launched on June 11, 2008 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

General Dynamics designed and manufactured the spacecraft, integrated the payload instruments, and conducted system EMI/EMC and environmental testing.
